Afternoon Art Retreat by DoBeDoUs

Spend the afternoon making art and learning something new in a lounge-like environment as part of a creative community.

Enjoy light snacks, tea, and coffee while connecting with other creative people at your own pace. Take one of our classes, work on your own project, and stay as long as you want.

Saturday, March 7, 2:00 – 6:30 PM

You can come in anytime between 2 and 6:30 PM and stay as long as you want. Each class has a set schedule, so make sure you arrive at least 10 min before your chosen class starts.

How the Afternoon Art Retreat works

Join the retreat by booking a guided class of your choice.
Your ticket includes open studio access from 2:00–6:30 PM, so you can keep making, experiment with shared art supplies, or just relax and explore between sessions. You’re also welcome to quietly observe other classes when space allows.

Hand-build Your Own Ceramic Bowl (or Other Vessel)

Create your own clay mug, bowl, or other vessel in a relaxed, beginner‑friendly workshop that teaches simple hand‑building and surface design techniques and sparks your creativity.

Minhwa (Korean Folk Art): Tiger and Magpie with Peony

Immerse yourself in the joy of exploring color, texture, and expression through hands-on drawing and painting sessions. You’ll go home with a ready-to-hang artwork for yourself or to give as a gift.

Lino Block Printmaking Inspired by Contemporary Artists

Learn the fundamentals of lino block printmaking, from transferring your design to carving, inking, and hand-printing your own piece of art to take home. This hands-on class is open to all levels.
